A smartphone app that is activated with a code when the ticket is purchased. Using headphones and following the directions, a visit to a part of a city is proposed, the order and rhythm of which depends on the visitor’s choice.
When the spectator buys the ticket, they can enter a code in the app that gives them access to the experience. This consists of a 20-minute walk through different parts of a city. Each “walk” has a title that indicates where or how to do it: “Cemetery”, “By the water”, “Traffic island”, etc. In each of them, narrations, dialogues, choreographies or rhythmic variations of walking are proposed. Walking is presented as a theatrical event in that it consciously inhabits a space as part of an experience. Rimini Protokoll is a renowned German theatre company founded in 2002 that explores interaction and the rupture of the usual limits of theatrical space in a poetics of reflection and questioning.
