Los justos (Juan Ayala, 2020)

interaction,mediatized theatre,transmedia,transpandemic stage

Online theatre series developed entirely remotely, involving 9 artists from different countries. Based on Les justes by Albert Camus.

Series of transmedia pieces created remotely by artists from 9 different countries and performed live by 7 of them. It takes place through Zoom, but also through Instagram and Telegram. The seven participating actors have only worked with a list of elements, but they do not know the show they are going to perform, which implies a powerful improvisation factor and, therefore, unpredictability, in what they call “a journey through the search for justice, terror, action or critical capacity”. They base their creation on the work of Albert Camus, set in the Russian revolution that led to the fall of the Tsars.

Online premiere in December 2020 at #TeatroConfinado del Teatro de la Abadía in Madrid.
